Where I was born?

I was born in Howick, Auckland, and moved to Whangaparaoa on the Hibiscus Coast during my teenage years.

What was I doing before I joined Numero?

I have a passion for art and design and after leaving school spent a year working at the Matakana Country Club designing, making and selling pottery and floristry. I then decided to travel, but like many Kiwis’ I only got as far as the Gold Coast where I spent the last seven years. Whilst living the Aussie dream and enjoying the beautiful weather I first undertook a sales role before moving to the tourism industry in a Frontline Customer Service role in a 4-star holiday resort. After realising there really is no better place than home, I arrived back in New Zealand in October 2011. I was fortunate to secure a temping assignment at Gaulter Russell and was consequently offered a permanent role!

Why do I work at Numero?

Lots of reasons....firstly it was the perfect opportunity to further my career and continue my passion for customer service. It’s also a brilliant team environment, I work with great people who are driven and professional but who still know how to have fun - the culture is really second to none!

What do I do at Numero?

I’m responsible for all reception and administration duties for the company - basically it’s my role to make sure that everyone who comes through the door has a good experience and I also ensure the front office runs like clockwork.

What do I do with my spare time?

I came back from the Gold Coast because I missed my family, so spending time with them (especially my two younger sisters) is paramount. My partner and I have a Pekinese Chihuahua cross named Darla who demands a lot of my spare time - I love walking with her on the beach and keeping fit, and have recently discovered Zumba!! I love to travel and have visited many beautiful countries throughout Europe as well as trips to Bali and Thailand. I love cooking and fine wine, fashion, music, dancing, and of course, Shopping!
